We are expecting baby boy number two sometime the beginning of January. I am being watched very closely by my high-risk OB. I’ll have a scheduled C-section since my pelvis is tilted. We’re hoping to forego the heart failure part of the operation this time. With the heart failure and diabetes, I have doctor’s appointments every other week. It’s a lot, but I feel good knowing that I’m in good hands. My doctor is awesome! We were surprised to find out so early at 13 weeks that we are expecting a boy (95% sure), but he wasn’t shy is sporting his stuff. I have monthly ultrasounds, so we’ll have lots of opportunities to see the little guy before he makes his appearance. Caleb is excited (for now) to be having a little brother. Little does he know how much his world is going to be turned upside down, but I’m sure he’ll be a big helper with his good-natured personality. We are thrilled for our family to be growing!
